One super nice custom bike !

This custom show bike is so nice, I'd be afraid to ride it ! Eye candy !!

Barb and I and nephews riding back from Washington

Our nephews and their SO's, rode back part way from Washington with us. Great bunch to ride with !

Grandpa with great grandson Levi

Great grandson Levi, Amber's boy, liked sitting on his grandpa's lap, but I don't think he would have liked to go for a ride,, yet. I'm sure he will be ready in a year or two :-)

Our VROC club logo

We have belonged to the VROC club, Vulcan Riders and Owners Club, since 2001. We have been to many of the club rallies over the years, with some as far away as N. Carolina. Great bunch of brothers. My number is 7489, and now there are over 33K members world wide.

Son Wayne on dads Nomad

Wayne decided to give a big bike a try. The Nomad is a little bigger than what he is used to, but he handled it very well.

The Good Ol' Boy

Barb and Bob at a VROC rally in Alberta, Canada

This was taken at the RITCR rally in Alberta, Canada. Rained most the time we were there, not much fun, but the ride there and back was worth it.

Wayne tooling around a California race track

Our son Wayne liked to spend time running around the twisties on a California race track to get his kicks for speed !

Nephew Steve riding at the Virginia City races

This is Steve Dahl, one of our bike riding nephews, who was riding in the Grand Prix race at Virginia City, NV

Taken at Glacier National Park Montana

We were on our way to a bike rally in Canada, and Wayne and Cindy rode with us from Carson City, to Kalispell, MT, and we took the ride up to the summit of Glacier National Park with them. We kept riding north, and they headed back to California, but on the way they hit a deer, OUCH !

A 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad G/G

I bought this bike after the plastic oil gear went out. Had it repaired, rode it for a short time, then sold it. Really a pretty bike, and I made some good $$ on the deal :-)

Harley 45, like my first bike

My first bike was a WW2 Harley 45 like this one, which I bought in 1956. When I bought my '48 Indian. I sold it to a friend for $250. Probably worth $25K now, sniff

Getting ready for a ride with friends

We are at the Sunset Pub, geting ready to ride with Dave, Deb, Kurt, and Terrie. As a group, we have plans for attending the Elko Rally, and other interesting ride trips this summer. Yee Haa

Bob's 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad

At my age, this will most likely be my last bike. Probably the best bike I've ever owned, with FI, shaft drive, water cooled.

My motto !

This is self explanatory :-)

Bob on the road in Canada headed to bike rally

This was taken up near Alberta Canada while we were on the way to a VROC bike rally. I'm not really that fat ! It was pretty cool, so had on lots of clothes :-)

Here is dad at age 16 who started it all

This is my dad who really started the bike riding in our family. Bike riding in our family seems to be in our blood, since so many of us ride. He rode my '49 Harley one time, and had a big smile on his face :-) RIP dad

Barb on her 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic

Barb has found just the right bike for her. The 900 Classic has FI and belt drive. Great bike, and she rides it pretty hard :-)

Barb's first bike, Virago 250

This is the bike Barb learned to ride on. A Virago 250. She then moved up to her first Kawasaki Vulcan 800

Barb's 2nd Kawasaki Vulcan 800, Yellow Bird

This was Barb's 2nd Kawasaki 800, which was her first Classic. Called the Yellow Bird, and was taken up on Geiger Grade out of Reno, NV.
